Lisa Pavlik is an attorney with Guardian Litigation Group. Lisa grew up in Tennessee and began her interest in the legal profession from her Great Aunt, who was one few women lawyers admitted to the profession, established her own law firm, and upon retirement became the Clerk and Master of courts. Lisa was allowed to “help” in the Clerks office and gained valuable insight and admiration for the legal profession at a young age.

Lisa attended Austin Peay State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in pre-law and business management. Lisa began her business career in banking, consumer lending, and loan servicing where she managed the delinquent loan, foreclosure, and bankruptcy portfolio.

Thereafter Lisa obtained her Paralegal ABA certification from the University of Memphis while working for the City of Memphis Law Department assisting in investigations and trials, (where one high profile matter involved opposing counsel, F. Lee Bailey).

Lisa obtained her Juris Doctorate from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 2021. While attending law school Lisa worked as a clerk for Rego, Cullen, and Hagen, assisting (Judge) Brian Hagen on various matters.

Following graduation and bar passage Lisa handled personal injury matters for both Plaintiff and Defendant clients, defamation, delinquency, insurance coverage, and a multitude of general practice matters.

Lisa worked in house with Xerox Corp., in the Business Process Outsourcing Unit entering an appearance on behalf of ERISA/NonERISA contractual litigation matters handling ADR/negotiaion, settlement, and collection of contractual subrogation claims. Lisa has argued before the the Ohio Court of Appeals on behalf of a business owner administration appeal, and in a matter representing a bank in litigation regarding a claim for personal injury from a trip and fall. Lisa worked in house for MetLife Legal Plans Attorney Panel Department managing a team of 12 and overseeing attorney billing and client claims, etc. Lisa participated as a Mentor for the Cleveland College Now program to encourage applicants who were chosen for educational assistance with support and a path for success in their undergraduate collegiate endeavor and eventually provide a recommendation for admission to her “alma mater” for her Mentee to attend law school.

She is currently licensed to practice law in Ohio and North Carolina. Lisa is married and resides in Geauga County Ohio, and she regularly spends time with family in North Carolina and in Virginia. She enjoys boating, outdoor activities, cooking, traveling, and supporting her local animal rescue organization and adopting rescue pets.
