Cassandra Goodman is an Associate Attorney at Guardian Litigation Group, bringing a wealth of experience in both criminal defense and civil legal services. She earned her undergraduate degree from New York University and graduated cum laude from the University of Florida School of Law. Originally from Florida, she has been a resident of Los Angeles, California since 2009.
Cassandra most recently served as a criminal defense attorney in Texas for the past two years. Prior to that, she held various impactful roles in legal services, including staff attorney, supervisor, and director. In these capacities, she vigorously advocated for the rights of low-income clients and their families in critical areas such as housing, education, employment, survivor rights, and post-conviction relief.
Earlier in her career, Cassandra worked as a public defender in Miami and Gainesville, Florida, where she developed a strong foundation in criminal defense and client-centered advocacy.
