Christopher Higgins is an attorney with Guardian Litigation Group. He obtained his bachelor's degree from Seton Hall University in Political Science in 2008, and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2011. He was admitted to the New Jersey state and federal bars in 2012, and was admitted to the United States Tax Court in 2022.
Christopher has extensive litigation practice experience, with a focus on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the United States Bankruptcy Code. Christopher has prosecuted and defended collection litigation in every court in New Jersey. Christopher has practiced criminal defense and motor vehicle defense for a number of years, and has advocated for taxpayers before both the Internal Revenue Service and the United States Tax Court.
When not at work, Christopher lives on the Delaware River with his family, and enjoys music, film, and rooting for the New York Mets.
