James J. Sayegh is an Associate Attorney in the Debt Resolution Department at Guardian Litigation Group, LLP. James earned his Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Political Science from Seton Hall University, and was honored to represent the College of Arts and Sciences as its Valedictorian. James went on to earn his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in New York.
After graduating from law school, James worked in the commercial real estate department of a large and very prestigious law firm in Newark, NJ. Then, just over a year after graduating from law school, James opened his own law practice in New Jersey, where he practiced criminal defense, civil litigation and landlord/tenant law. He is currently licensed to practice law in Michigan and New York.
A New Jersey native, James now resides in the Detroit Metro area with his wife, Nora, and his two sons, Jesse and Alexander. When not advocating for his clients, James enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, the outdoors, and watching Seinfeld on Netflix.
